Austin Flores Obituary
Austin Lewis Flores
April 9, 1998 – April 8, 2026
Austin Lewis Flores, age 27, passed away on April 8, 2026, as the result of a tragic accident, just one day before his 28th birthday.
Austin was born on April 9, 1998, in San Antonio, Texas, to his loving parents, Brenda and Patrick Flores.
Austin will be remembered as a devoted son, a loving big brother, and a loyal friend to many. Affectionately known by several nicknames, including “Slick Kid Austin,” at home and “Beecho” at work, he was someone people naturally looked up to. Austin had a kind and compassionate heart, especially for the underprivileged, and was known for being a protector-someone who never judged and always stood by those he cared about.
Full of life and laughter, Austin had a vibrant personality and a joking spirit that could light up any room. He enjoyed spending time gaming on his PlayStation, watching anime, collecting Dragon Ball Z memorabilia and Marvel comics, and following wrestling. Some of his most cherished moments were spent with his family-whether camping together or attending Spurs games.
Austin graduated from East Central High School, Class of 2016. He was a dedicated employee of H-E-B, where he worked for over nine years as a hauler. During his time there, he built meaningful friendships that became like family. He was honored to be chosen as the best man in an upcoming wedding for coworkers he had introduced-an occasion where his presence will be deeply missed, though his spirit will undoubtedly be felt.
Austin’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and genuine kindness. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unforgettable memories that will live on in all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his parents, Brenda and Patrick Flores, siblings, Paul-Lino Flores, Anitta Flores, Mason Flores, Jason Flores, Krystal Gaona, Jayden Flores; aunt, Melinda Ramirez; cousins, Kaden Salinas, Anthony Flores, Arturo Flores; Godson, Michael Garcia; Goddaughter, Peyton Vijil numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at 9:00am on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home 5611 E. Houston St. San Antonio, TX 78220. Celebration of Life to follow at 10:00am in Meadowlawn Funeral Chapel.
