GREENVILLE, Pa. (MyValleyTributes) – Robert Romine, commonly known as Scott or Scotty, passed away on April 16, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, following a brief illness.
Scott was born on May 2, 1963, to Robert Romine and Lynda (Abernathy) Kerins.

He spent much of his childhood living on a small farm in Greenville, Pennsylvania, with his mother, stepfather Thomas Kerins and brother Jeffery Kerins, riding horses and causing minor trouble. The boys always enjoyed working on cars and spent a lot of time doing that together through the years.
Scott was married to Jama (Stouffer) Romine on November 15, 1997 and they lived in Greenville until her untimely passing in 2020. They had no children, but they adored their feline “kids.”
He’s survived by his sister, Beckie (Kerins) Peskin, her husband Kevin and their daughter Ella. Also surviving are nieces, Mackinsey (Charles) Kerins and their four children and Jessica Burnett; nephews, Cody Kerins and Tj McGary; aunts, Diane Mowery and Maureen (Don) Shine; plus many cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jeff; his uncle, Tom; and his wife, Jama.
A cremation was chosen. The family intends to hold a celebration of life at a later date.
