Eugene Waclawik, 82, formerly of Cambridge Springs, passed away on March 31, 2026.

Son of the late John Waclawik and Stephany (Ksiaszczak)Waclawik. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Patricia (Sutliff) Waclawik. Survived by his 3 daughters Theresa Mahon (Patrick), Christine Price (Robert) and Melissa Waclawik, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was “proud of his girls” and his quick witted humor and steady presence helped shape their lives.

He was a skilled photographer, a Steamfitter/Pipefitter by trade, and a member of the Local Masonic Lodge #473. Gene was well known for his joy of golfing, all things Cleveland Browns, his beloved pups, and his love of Drum Corps. He was a member of the Meadville Thunderbirds, the later formed Erie Thunderbirds Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps, and was an extraordinary soloist.

He is now reunited with his Lady, Patricia (Patty Anne). A reunion that brings comfort to those who mourn his passing.

A celebration of Life will be held on April 25, 2026, from 1-4 pm at the Rambler at the Riverside in Cambridge Springs, PA.

Eulogy to begin at 1:30 pm, followed by light appetizers. We will also honor and celebrate Gene’s life with a special farewell tribute at 3:30 pm. We invite you to bring a golf club to participate in a group tee shot on the driving range—a simple, meaningful way to come together and send him off with love.

In honor of his memory, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Erie Thunderbirds Drum and Bugle Corps or the Erie Humane Society.

The Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting with arrangements.
